Mediation

What is it?

Mediation is a method of resolving an issue out-of-court by a trained mediator. Mediators are unbiased third parties who aim to hear both sides of the issue and create the best possible resolution. Through mediation, clients are better able to communicate what issues they would like to be addressed and therefore the mediator is able to address them in the mediation process. In mediation, there is no official decision that is imposed, but rather both parties must consent to the resolution. Mediation is a private process, unlike litigation or any in-court settlement. Ms. Jenab has been an accredited mediator since 2013 having begun her training 15 years ago. With her experience, you can rest assured that your case will be handle with professionalism and a better understanding of how to reach an agreement that is beneficial to both parties.

Why choose mediation?

Mediation provides several benefits over traditional in-court resolutions. First and foremost, mediation is often less expensive than traditional in-court resolutions. The privacy of mediation is also beneficial to parties who want to keep their matters private as the entire process is generally confidential. Additionally, mediation is more flexible than in-court resolutions because mediators are able to present more unique solutions.
